The XIV International Tournament Ciudad de Pontevedra will award 13,000€ in prizes
The new edition raises its prize fund and cements its place as one of the richest chess tournaments in Galicia.

The XIV International Tournament Ciudad de Pontevedra will award a total of 13,000€ in prizes across Group A and Group B — a prize fund that reflects the growth and ambition of a tournament that draws players from around the world year after year.
Group A (Master)
The Group A winner takes home 2,000€, with prizes down to 15th place. Special recognition will also go to the best female player, the best veteran over 60, and the top U-2300 and U-2150 finishers.
Group B (Amateur)
Group B features a generous prize pool too, with 1,000€ for the winner and prizes down to 12th place. U-1800, U-1600, female, veteran, and youth categories will all receive recognition.
Ramón Escudeiro Tilve Trophy
As every year, the Ramón Escudeiro Tilve Trophy will be awarded for the best attacking game of the tournament, with a 150€ prize and trophy for both groups.
